We recognize that success can be measured in various ways at different stages of life. While the camp centers on basketball as a sport, it also motivates campers and their families to pursue parallel opportunities for personal and professional growth. By blending rigorous basketball training with monthly virtual sessions focused on personal growth, academic and financial success, and creating alternative pathways for stability, the camp offers a comprehensive experience designed to foster excellence both on and off the court.

FAQ

  • What should my child wear to the camp?
    Your child should wear comfortable athletic clothing, including a t-shirt, shorts, and basketball shoes. Please ensure they have appropriate socks and a hat for any outdoor activities.
  • What should my child bring to the camp?
    Please bring a water bottle, a healthy snack, a towel, and a small gym bag. If your child has any necessary medications, please ensure they have those as well and inform the camp staff.
  • What are the pick-up and drop-off times?
    Drop-off is between 8:30 AM and 9:00 AM. Camp activities will begin promptly at 9:00 AM. Pick-up is at 1:00 PM. Please ensure you arrive on time for both drop-off and pick-up.
  • Where should I drop off and pick up my child?
    Drop-off and pick-up will take place at the main entrance of the gymnasium. Please follow the signs and staff directions to ensure a smooth process.
  • Can parents attend the camp sessions?
    Parents are welcome to stay and observe the first and last 15 minutes of each day. This allows you to see the daily briefing and debriefing sessions. However, during camp activities, we ask parents to refrain from staying to ensure the children can focus and participate fully.
  • What if my child has dietary restrictions or allergies?
    Please inform the camp staff of any dietary restrictions or allergies at the time of registration. We will accommodate your child's needs to the best of our ability. Ensure your child brings any necessary medications, such as an EpiPen and/or insulin.
  • What happens if my child gets injured or feels unwell during camp?
    Our staff includes certified first aid professionals. If your child gets injured or feels unwell, they will be taken care of immediately. We will contact you as soon as possible if your child needs to be picked up or requires further medical attention.
  • Are electronic devices allowed at the camp?
    We recommend that children do not bring electronic devices to camp. The camp is focused on physical activity and personal interaction. If a child needs to bring a phone for communication purposes, it should be kept in their bag during camp activities.
  • What if my child cannot attend a session?
    If your child cannot attend a session, please inform us as soon as possible. While we understand that situations arise, we encourage full attendance to get the most benefit from the camp.
  • How do I contact the camp staff during the camp?
    You can reach the camp staff through the contact number provided at registration. We will also provide an email address for non-urgent inquiries.
